nice weekend. went out to perrys rooftop bar with mama friday in my new heels (think kourtney kardashians shoes in the picture below), saturday went with my mom and her friends on their boat along the potomac for dinner. they brought their personal trainer along…..not bad.ran 6.3 miles today! RECORD. on the way back i was so tired and had my music on so loud that i didnt realize a squirrel was in my way and i accidentally STEPPED on its tail and it ran away so fast that i was left with its tail. like literally there was a stumpy bloody tail in front of my house and i was so freaked out that my dad had to pick it up. horrific experience.
read a hilarious article about how the leader of the russian govt’s opposition was caught doing coke and cheating on his wife with a famous hooker his daughters age. it came out in their paper and nobody (seriously nobody) blinked an eye about it. it wasnt even front page news and it definitely did not destroy his political career like it would here in the states (gov of south carolina mark sanford anyone?). one of the members of govt said “they could bug his toilet and catch him pooping too, who cares? the only 2 people who should say anything are his wife and his daughter. everyone else - its not your business, okay?” hahahahaha this made me crack up. and his wife didnt care either. im surprised but completely agree. apparently in france all the presidents have and are even expected to have mistresses. carla bruni was sarkozy’s mistress before he married her.
