outbreak of violence in jamaica over the looming extradition of an infamous druglord, massive storm that killed 100 people so far and created terrible devastation in el salvador guate and honduras, israeli forces attacked a boat carrying humanitarian aid for gaza, worst oil spill in US history and likely the world, another catholic church controversy excommunicating a nun who supported saving a mothers life even though it meant terminating her 11 week pregnancy…when does it all stop?! a few things on whats going on in jamaica though - christopher coke, the drug kingpin, is described by the people of the slums in Kingston as a modern day Robin Hood. Yes he deals drugs and yes thats illegal but he supports the community by sending everyones kids to school, covering peoples medical bills, implementing after school programs. now all of a sudden the US government decide that because he is a big time drug deal to issue a warant for his arrest. whattt? he isnt even a US citizen! the jamaican govt first denied the request for the warrant but finally caved in and chaos in kingston has ensued because of course nobody wants their robin hood to go to jail (for life, that is). sad that close to 100 people have died in the protests and something like 700 people have been jailed. why does the US need to meddle in this? dont get it. how about we turn our attention to more pressing matters at hand. sayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy confronting israel and netanyahu. even turkey openly criticized this recent attack, their only ally in the muslim world. our turn to say something and stop being wussies (dont want to be too vulgar ya knoooow).

anyways, bought some adorable wedges from H&M today. who knew they sold shoes? also since when is MNG so overpriced? 80 is the average price for cotton dresses. it can not be this expensive in europe…. is it?
